Dear St. Anthony’s Parish Family,
To deepen our love of Jesus, the most important thing we can do is pray every day for the grace to fall in love with Jesus. The instruction of St. Paul in his letter to the Philippians 2:5,
“Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,”
is one we must heed with all our power, from the moment we awaken unite we retire. Our minds become one with the mind of Christ when we fall in love with Jesus, more and more every day. It is a day-by-day transformation. Every day we must want it to happen. Our hearts must want it to happen. The currency of love is time. We need to spend at least 30 minutes every day in quiet togetherness with Jesus for this transformation in Christ to happen.
We ask Jesus for the permission to take our hand and guide us along the paths of transformation, so every day we pray these words:
My dear Jesus grant me the joy of falling in love with you more and more every day. Amen.
